“Flavour is all in the details: a spice, a fresh herb, the right seasoning… can transform a whole dish!”
Seasonal, varied, unpretentious and full of flavour, with a soft spot for homemade. From refined to good old French comfort food, light or more indulgent: what matters is that it’s a pleasure to eat.

what they say
Tried and tasted
“I highly recommend Cheffe Megh: from starter to dessert, delicious dishes where it’s a joy to discover a new ingredient or a new combination every time!”
“An absolute treat! Special mention for the cherry tomato flan and the lemon tart. In short, it’s seriously indulgent and I recommend it.”

behind the scenes

questions I’m often asked
Your questions, answered
How much does a private chef cost in Lyon?
My one-off packages range from €140 for 3 dishes to €200 for 5 dishes, with 4 portions per dish: that’s €70 to €100 after the tax credit. Subscriptions are quoted individually, with lower rates the longer you commit.
Do I really get 50% back as a tax credit?
Yes, on weekly meals, if you pay tax in France: I’m a registered home services provider (no. SAP941205908). With the URSSAF immediate advance scheme, you only pay half, straight away. Event catering doesn’t qualify.
What happens during a session?
I come to your home and cook the dishes you’ve chosen in your kitchen. I pack them into labelled, dated boxes in your fridge, with a guide to storing and reheating them, then I wash up and clean the kitchen before I leave.
Who does the shopping?
With the shopping option (+€20 per session after tax credit), I arrive with the ingredients and you reimburse them against the receipt. Otherwise, I send you the shopping list beforehand.
How many portions do I get per dish?
Each package includes 4 portions per dish. Extra portions are €5 each after tax credit.
Which areas do you cover?
Lyon itself, neighbouring towns such as Villeurbanne, Caluire-et-Cuire, Bron and Vénissieux (+€10 per visit after tax credit), and the outer suburbs as far as Limonest, Montluel and Mions (+€20 per visit after tax credit).
When do I need to choose my dishes?
At least 5 days before the session, from over 120 recipes on my menu. The meal planner helps you build your week or month, see the price and send me your selection.
Do I need to be at home?
For the first session, yes: it’s a chance for us to meet and for me to get to know your kitchen.
Do you cook vegetarian dishes?
Yes, part of my menu is meat- and fish-free (though not vegan), and some dishes come in several versions. I adapt my recipes to your tastes and dietary needs: just let me know when you send your selection.
What about a birthday or a drinks party?
I prepare drinks and nibbles, sweet or savoury buffets, birthday teas and family meals in your kitchen, for 2 to 30 people, on a quote basis.
